His teaching and research probe issues in faith and culture, of mission theology (particularly its trinitarian roots), and in ecclesiology and ministry. He is author of Models of Contextual and co-author (with Roger Schroeder, S.V.D.) of Constants in Context: A Theology of Mission for Today.

Dear Dr Bevans
Before asking my question, please allow me to thank you for coming to address you at OCMS last week. My name is Paul Miller, I am the Yank who posed to you the question about your perceived silence on the issue of justification and mission as reconciling lost sinners to God. Remember me now!? My question concerns something Bernard Farr (tutor at OCMS) mentioned to me, that you had done your academic research on Karl Rahner. That intrigued me and I wanted to ask what aspect of Rahner's work you investigated. Thanks for any answer you give! Yours,
Paul Miller
