A Biblical Basis for Project Evaluation by Johan P. Velema
Christian Mission in a Pluralist Context: On the Margins and in Competition? by CMS General Secretary Tim Dakin.
Johan Velema, epidemiologist and public health specialist, working with The Leprosy Mission in research & development reflects on the practice of project evaluation by NGO's in the light of biblical values. One of the questions he asks is how evaluation should be practiced when Jesus teaches that we are not to judge so that we will not be judged.
"Public theology is an essential form of witness," writes Tim Dakin. In his monograph he explores what Mission should look like in a pluralist, globalised world. "Christians are not called to proselytise those of other faiths; we are called to appeal to them to be reconciled to God through the Lord Jesus Christ and to follow him as disciples."
