In Hull and Peru, young people take big steps of faith
A Breakfast Club trip to the beach: being part of this community led three young people to baptism recently
Three young people, who have grown up participating in breakfast clubs and summer camps run by CMS mission partners in Hull, took "a step of courage" and were baptised in December.
"We have been so encouraged to see God working in their lives," said Anna and Chris Hembury.
"And we're humbled to see how they have been prepared to be wholehearted about their faith in a culture and context where choosing to give your life to Jesus is often a lonely road.”
Meanwhile in Peru...
Fifteen young people in Juliaca, including one deaf participant, responded to Jesus’ call on their lives during an evangelistic weekend, called Happening, led in part by mission partner Paul Tester, who travelled 500 miles to get there and slept on floors with the group.
"It was a privilege to pray with these young people; some are now attending church and one has become part of a worship group."
