Suzanne Irvine

Suzanne has been working as a CMS short term volunteer with the Diocese of Peru in a school, children's home and church in Arequipa, Peru.




Please remember Suzanne in your prayers:

• that the remainder of her time in Peru will bring continued blessings both to herself and those she is serving
• for her return to the UK in September, her planned wedding on Christmas Eve and that she is able to find a fulfilling job.
• for her landlady in Peru undergoing radiotherapy, the children’s home, and for safety in travel

Andy and Rose Roberts

Andy and Rose Roberts are CMS mission partners working in Olinda (next to Recife) in Brazil. For the past four years they have been serving in My Father's House (MFH), a project for vulnerable and 'high risk' children and in the Living Waters Anglican parish which is based in a poor community at the side of the city's rubbish dump.

Prayer points:

• for My Father's House: strength for the workers and peace for the boys, also that the necessary finance will be available to sustain the project
• for Andy and Rose's future ministry as they return to Brazil, and that their plans for a new project for vulnerable young girls, which they see as being the Lord’s will for them, will be realised.

Bishop Henry Scriven

Bishop Henry is the CMS mission director for South America. He recently visited Uruguay and Latin partner Gonzalo Soria.




Prayer points:

• thank God for the ministry of Gonzalo and Leticia Soria and the hard work that has resulted in a small but dedicated congregation meeting regularly in the small chapel in Fray Bentos
• for Gonzalo and Leticia in their holistic ministry, seeking to deepen the prayer life of the church and reaching out to needy people
• for the people of Fray Bentos, many pensioned off when the factory closed down and now seem to have little incentive to work
• for SAMS international and the important personal contacts established and for CMS and Bishop Henry’s part in the ministry to Latin America
