Evan Thomas
Evan Thomas is an elder/leader at Kehilat (congregation) Beit Asaph in Netanya, Israel. Originally from New Zealand, Evan and his wife moved to Israel in the 1980s. Evan has been significantly involved in leadership in the Messianic community in Israel for nearly two decades. He has been co-chair of the National Evangelism Committee and is on the board of Musalaha (an Arabic word for forgiveness and reconciliation), a ministry of reconciliation which seeks to promote reconciliation between Israelis and Palestinians. www.musalaha.org
Caroline and Dick Seed
Caroline and Dick Seed are CMS mission partners working with the Organisation of African Instituted Churches (AICs) in Ghana. They are based at Good News Theological College and Seminary just outside Accra. In addition to lecturing, Dick has been assisting the development of the college by running training sessions for lecturers and advising the Faculty on Quality Assurance procedures. They have previously served in Rwanda and in Nigeria. As well as handling a phenomenal amount of paperwork for the college's affiliation and accreditation processes, Caroline has taught languages and been engaged in research into African women’s theology in Ghana. Part of Dick’s work has been making contact with and visiting new AICs in and around the Accra region.
Isobel Booth-Clibborn
Isobel is a CMS mission partner, working as the Africa Regional Coordinator for Viva. Seconded from CMS, she has been working with Viva for the past 10 years and living in Kampala, Uganda for the past six years. She has a daughter, Shiisa Kate, aged seven. Viva is an international charity, partnering 44 local networks in 24 countries, representing approximately 2,000 members who work with more than 1.1 million children. It’s working to see children transformed children, developing sustainable projects, engaging churches and influencing decision makers. In Africa, Viva works with six networks across Uganda, Kenya, South Africa, Tanzania and Zimbabwe. Through these networks Viva Africa unites more than 500 churches and organisations working with more than 200,000 children.
