In spite of threats from some Hindu priests and Buddhist monks, 15 students in Nepal (eight men and seven women) shared the gospel with more than 2,000 people in one week.

“Students visited 400 houses, walking five hours in scorching heat sharing the gospel,” said Manoj Pradhananga, a CMS Timothy mission partner who directs the Leadership Training Programme of the National Churches Fellowship of Nepal.

This outreach was part of the students’ Christian Leadership Training Centre (CLTC) curriculum.

Those who began following Jesus during this time included a paralysed woman and her friend, both of whom have joined a local church.

Each of the CLTC students will go on to lead or plant churches in Nepal.
