South Asia Christian Youth conference opens
Nepali dancers provide a colourful welcome
(Photos: © CMS)Over 200 delegates arrived at the weekend in Pokhara, Nepal, for the third South Asia Christian Youth Conference.
The theme is "Cross the Bridge" and looks at difference, diversity and division especially in multicultural, multifaith contexts.
In the opening ceremony, delegates brought water from different countries and poured it symbolically into one vessel. Oil lamps were set on top.
CMS is a main sponsor of the conference along with numerous other mission agencies and partners.
