In Peru, children are often seen simply as future adults rather than people in their own right. Paul and Sarah Tester work with young people and children in the Diocese of Peru, providing playschemes and youth discipleship training, and being alongside families in their struggles and joys.

Anonymous mission: the temperature has gone up

An anonymous worker talks about life for Christians in a police state and what it means for him to live and work alongside them. "The strongest message we have seen that speaks of Jesus is where there are Muslim-background believers who are now followers of Jesus who are able to communicate with their friends, family and neighbours, so...what we do is focused on encouraging and supporting them."

Hand in hand

For the church in Brazil church planting and social outreach go hand in hand. From rubbish dump mission to theological education to marriage courses, life as a CMS mission partner is both varied and rewarding for Marcus Throup. We met Marcus on a visit to the UK from Brazil, where he has been living and working for the past 10 years, much of it hand in hand with his Brazilian wife Tamara.
