Kathy Pinsent
Kathy works at Hebron School in Tamil Nadu, India. This is an international school whose aim is to support families involved in mission across Asia.
Currently 70 per cent of the students are from mission families originating from India, Britain, USA, Canada, Australia, Korea and Malaysia.
Kathy teaches Religious Studies and English and helps with the counselling and careers departments. She is also a dorm parent for Year 10 girls – so life is busy!
She attends the local CSI church and gives a weekly children's talk in the Sunday service. She also regularly visits a local orphanage called Mizpah and helps with a monthly craft club there.
Please pray that
- Kathy will be able to balance all the different demands on her time
- Kathy will be able to teach effectively and creatively and communicate well with a very diverse group of students for Hebron school, which plays a vital part in supporting many families in frontline mission work across India and Asia
- for good relationships amongst all the Hebron staff and that the school will be a good Christian witness in the community
- Kathy will have an ability to love and nurture all the girls in the dorm and see them as unique individuals
- Kathy will be able to build good relationships with people at church and in the local community
